last year has been an exciting adventure! I was amazed as I watched God put
every thing in place to reopen the doors to
Temple
Christian
Academy
. Our staff has done an excellent job. They are
dedicated to the idea of a quality Christian education. With love and compassion
they reach not only the minds but also the hearts of their students.
One student who enrolled late this last year, walks through the halls with
a smile on his face every day. His first week he just kept saying how glad he
was to be a student at
Temple
Christian
Academy
. That seems to be the sentiment of each of our
students.
We started with thirteen students from Kindergarten through sixth grade
and added another seven before the year was completed. The response from parents
has been incredible. They love the education their students are receiving and
the environment in which they receive it.
I am especially looking forward to this coming year. We have been blessed
by having our first grader (Garrison) in Mrs. Barton’s class. However, since
we only went to 6th grade our older sons were not able to attend. So
we are excited to open up through grade twelve in the fall of 2008. So now
Zachary will be able to begin his freshman year here at TCA. Micah will move up
from
Temple
Tot
Nursery School
and be
enrolled in our kindergarten. Although Nate will be graduating this year and
heading off to college, we will be happy to have all of our school age children
here at
Temple
Christian
Academy
. I guess I could quote a familiar commercial and
say, “I’m not only the President, but I’m also a client.”
Pastor
and Mrs. Smith, likewise have their children, Wesley, Stephanie and Sarah
enrolled in TCA. We share this to let you know that we put our best into TCA for
several reasons including the fact that we want our own children to be in the
best possible Christian and Academic environment.
Our goal is to educate our students in a way not possible in a public
institution. We want to educate them Mentally,
Spiritually, Physically and Emotionally.
We want to work with parents in training the whole child rather than just one or
two aspects. We find the basis for this in our school verse, Mark 12:30.
“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind, and with all
thy strength: this is the first
commandment.”
I hope that you will give us the privilege of ministering to your family
