A Word from our Pastor
I have never been more excited about what God is doing at Temple Christian Academy! Our students have just returned from Academic and Fine Arts competition with awards and certificates acknowledging their accomplishments. New students are eagerly, taking advantage of the registration discounts. One precious young lady was so excited she couldn’t wait to call her husband to let him know that their child had been successfully enrolled! The word is spreading that Temple Christian Academy provides a quality, Christian education. Over ten new students have already committed to the next school year in addition to all of our returning students. Families believe in our vision to educate the whole child. Every day our students recite our school verse, Mark 12:30, along with their pledges. (Yes, we still say The Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag, the Christian Flag and the Bible every day!) “And thou shalt
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all
thy mind, and with all thy strength:
this is the first commandment.” This verse outlines our philosophy of Educating the Whole Child. We want to inspire their hearts to trust Christ and prepare their souls for heaven. We want their minds to be academically challenged and their character to be strong. While public schools may achieve varying degrees of success academically, contemporary interpretation of the law forbids them to provide a sound spiritual education. However, at TCA you people are taught and challenged from chapel and Bible class every day. They learn that God is a relevant to every aspect of life in each course of instruction. You know that God is the author of true science but have you ever considered how many math problems there are in the Bible? Missionaries make great guest lecturers for Social Studies and Geography. Even in our sports programs, godliness is emphasized. For these reasons, parents have confidence in TCA. They want their children to receive a strong and balanced education that supports rather than contradicts their faith and conservative values. They want to develop personal relationships with the teachers and have a constant line of communication. They want teachers who pray for and with their children every day. They not only want their children to be educated but they want them to be equipped to achieve success not just in the workforce but also at home and in the church. At Temple Christian Academy I and my staff strive to inspire your children to love God in four major areas: His Heart, His Soul, His Mind and with All His Strength!
